Tradition

Founded in Cossato in the 1964 by Giancarlo Rimoldi and his wife Delfina Bodo, after two years Filatura Luisa 1966 moved itself to the actual location in Masserano, on an area of 7750 square meters. Since 1989, the company has been managing from their children Luisa and Roberto, hiring 34 employees. In the last years, at our stabilized best Customers from Biella we can add some of the most important brands of the worldwide fashion industry.

A constant update of the machinery united to the ancient experiences handed from specialists of Biella guarantee the best quality. Maximum dedication in the “customer satisfaction”, real stock service, delivery in 24-48 hours from the order confirmation, production of small lots and out standard articles on Customers’ requests in very short times, for the most complete personalization of the Customers.

Research

In the last years, unique and innovative products have been placing side by side with the traditional collections: starting from the most classic to the most eccentric fancies made with yarns in 100% wool, alpaca and silk, to the realization of yarns made using noble fibres mixed to the most strange and sometimes unknown fibers. Lulù, Rainbow, Recco, Portofino are already icons of the Luisa 1966’s collections on the tables of the most important stylists of the worldwide fashion industry.

Our History

In its over than 50 years of activity, the company has been changed its work, at the beginning only on behalf of a third party at the service of the most famous woolen mills in Biella, into a manufacturer on its own, producing stock service yarns, making available to its Customers a mix of new technologies and ancient experiences transmitted from the specialists of Biella, who allowed the company to survive to the big textile crisis of the last years, establishing it on the top of the most serious and reliable partners of the Italian textile industry.
